Golden Perch Fingerlings

Golden Perch or Yellowbelly are a well known angling species native to the Murray Darling Basin.

Capable of growing to 70cm and 24kg, they are commonly seen to 40cm and 1.5kg in farm dams.

The diet of Golden Perch consists of live food- small fish, shrimp, crayfish and large insects.

A good angling species, Golden Perch will readily take a lure or well presented live bait.

Firm, white flesh with a delicate flavour make Golden Perch a good eating fish.
